Ghoultide Is Coming...

Thinkin' In Orange and Black (maybe purple too)
Finally I have something completed and packed away for "Ghoultide Gathering"!  This month has been a real challenge to get anything accomplished with all the power outages, storms and cleaning up after the storms.  It felt great to sit down and do nothing but work.  There are 14 of these  little lanterns ready for Ghoultide, wish there were more but 14 lanterns was all I could find.  They were a HUGE hit last year!
Today will be a day to work on PODDS.  Lately it has been difficult to do to much with clay because of the heat, dries the clay out to fast....but today is looking good for a few faces to come alive.  A major magazine is wanting a few PODDS for a feature article about them and need to get some finished for that and of course Ghoultide.  This year I think I will be doing mostly cats for Ghoultide.  They seem to sell well and they are SOOOOO much fun to make!  I also have an idea for a couple of new PODD witches and maybe a ghoul or two!  I love working on Ghoultide so much.  It gives me a sense of enchantment and magic...not to mention it makes me remember how much I loved Halloween as a kid!   Hope the power outages stay at a minimum and I can just listen to my music and get lost in a black and orange cloud of imagination and fantasy!
