Working in a field that associates me with so many fantastic artists that it isn't often I do any research or familiarize myself with the artists of the past....like Molly Brett. Her outstanding illustrations have always made me feel young and whimsical at heart. I want my grandchildren to know her work because it will open those secret passages in their brains that only magic can enter. Her "faeries" are truly
the essence of our fantasies and her whimsical animals are what bedtime stories were created for. If you ever want some amazing "eye candy" do some
research into the work of Molly Brett and maybe even find one of her truly magical books at the library or bookstore. You will be spun into such a world or color and fantasy that you will emerge with nothing less than a bounce in your step and a sparkle in your eye cause you, my friend, have entered the 
word of delight and fantasy and it has impaled your imagination! I often wonder what my life would have been like without the genius of someone like Molly Brett or Lewis Carroll etc.....parish that thought! Go forth and dream....dreams are the road maps to life!

I collect children's books that are exquisitely illustrated. This is one that I was not familiar with, so I am going to order it. Thanks for sharing!
