Simply Primitives for April.....

"Going Mousey On Simply Primitives"
It's that time again....time for something new on "Simply Primitives".  This month I thought I would go over to the "mouse side
....maybe cause I ate a bit too much cheese this month or I just enjoy making the little characters...we will NEVER know!

Up for grabs is Leticia Bobbins a mouse who likes to travel in spooky circles, she even has her own broom!
With Mother's Day right around the corner I wanted to do something that is "mom" oriented...so meet the "bread winner" of the family "Maisey"! She likes to provide for her family and today looks like some wonderful fresh bread will be on the menu!  You can't see them to well in the picture but she is wearing a pair of gold rimmed glasses and also carrying her own bag of goodies!
My favorite little mouse is"Spoonful of Sugar".  I had fun putting this piece together.  I've always enoyed mixing vintage/antique pieces in with my characters.  This little mouse, Pierre, is nestled into a vintage silver cup and surrounded by faux sugar cubes.  In his tail he holds a vintage silver spoon with one of the sugar cubes.....very sweet!  Hope everyone will spend some time over on "Simply Primitives" and check everything out!
