Diving In to "Ghoultide Gathering"....

"The Mizzlewith Sisters".....
Since this will be my 4th year at "Ghoultide Gathering", hard to believe, one thing I have learned....it is NEVER to early to start creating for this prestigious event! Life has a way of sneaking some rather large speed bumps on your road of creating and causing you to get off track...so its NEVER to early to get handle on the inventory.

Last year I took 162 pieces and came home
with 9 and this year we will have a much larger venue and space to work with....I'm very excited!   These little mice are a new design and yet and old design for me.
I reduced the size of one of my favorite designs and plumped them up a bit to create the "Mizzlewith Sisters"....Now we all know that mice can have a ga-zillion relatives so this particular line of mice will be called the "Mizzlewith Line"....I kinda think there will be a few brothers thrown in for balance, lol....gotta have wizards as well!  Mice have always been a a HUGE success for me and I must admit that it's always a challenge to see how I can make them different and yet true to myself.  Many of my mouse designs have be duplicated, copied and stolen but as long as I keep trying to stay one step ahead of the un-talented and imagination-ally impaired I think they will remain special!

Of course they will be all the time special, because they are made by you! I just love all the things you do, so beautiful and full of whimsey. A follower from Oregon!

Oh Pam, such beautiful little creatures!!! I'm so sad that this year I probably won't be able to attend Goultide. :( I'll have to enjoy your creations from the sidelines.
Thanks for sharing ~ they always bring out a smile!!!

I love these new mice:) I appreciate what you are saying. As a fellow mouse maker I am very reluctant to sell them now. One little mouse I used to make was copied by a fellow vendor and then she had the nerve to sell them at the same show that we were both attending. The only consolation I had was that the quality of her work was beyond awful and she didn't sell any of the mice she copied.

I still love making my mice though:)

The Meece's are simply wonderful. I don't think you need to worry about anyone copying you....you have a very original touch!
162 pieces? WOW! I'm having issues with a dozen!
Keep up the great work!

Hello Mizz Pam ~ well, it's been a while! I am SO looking forward to seeing you at the Ghoultide show this coming October...I am humbled to have been asked to vend again ~ last time I was there I was TOTALLY overwhelmed! but I have started to work on my offerings already ~ like you said...we need to be TRUE to ourselves and keep a step ahead.
Happy Spring to YOU and see you in a coupla months!
~Blessed be~

Oh....The Mizzlewiths are positively, and unequivocally, delightful!! What I wouldn't give to go!! As a non-artist, I can only imagine what it must feel like to be pilfered....but, I cannot imagine that anyone could come close to actually duplicating your work....it stands alone dear Pam....always and amazingly alone.... :o) Robin
