"Ghoultide Gathering Bound"

I"m beginning to think I just might have my head in the game, FINALLY! After months of trying to get my brain to start creating ideas for this wonderful show with absolutely no success it is now "by God I think she's got it"!!!!! I've had these miniature lanterns sitting around forever and since I make large Jack-O-Lanterns out of very rustic lanterns I thought I would give it a whirl on these small ones. I must admit I'm kinda liking them...A LOT! I just got some old antique metal horns (one is pictured above) and as I look at these I don't see a child using a musical instrument but a tall pointy witches hat....hmmmm...funny how the artist mind works! I also just received some incredible twisted and bent manszanita branches from California. If you aren't familiar with manszanita then just think of the "spookiest" tree on a dark stormy night reaching it's gnarled and twisted arms out to get you....THAT"S MANSZANITA! Plan on painting them black and hanging some rather comical bats from the branches....personally I love the look and the idea of funny bats! Will be sending out my "Ghoultide Gathering" postcards this month.....so zip me an email if you would like a postcard which also gives a discount into the most "magical" Halloween Event around....and did I mention fun too!

The lanterns are adorable!! And I can't wait to see the bat tree! I was fascinated by the manszanita tree the first time I saw it in Arizona - to me, it's one of the most perfect trees to grow on this earth!! Love it! Happy Friday! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

love all the whimsical faces of these punkin heads...are you using that branch to hang your creations at your show?
