Tough Times and Fairy Tales...

We all grew up with the fantasies of "Fairy Tales". In fact we relate to them often in our everyday lives and share their lessons and characters with those that are closest to us, like our children. I believe our lives are our own personal "Fairy Tale" and it's always up to us to write the ending. Sure circumstances have a way of rearing their ugly head like the "wolf in sheep's clothing" but we, as a race, are a bunch of survivors and find ourselves waving our finger in the face of adversity and skipping along. It isn't always easy to see the positive of a negative but the world is about "balance" and that positive is hanging on just to keep everything in balance. We endure, we fight and scrap along and times wonder why is life so darn hard, then it happens....we see our kids laughing, a sparkle in the eyes of someone you love or even a miracle that you never saw coming. It's all about "Faith" and her ever lasting grip on us in the face of that adversity! Like many, I find solace in the stories of mythical creatures and happy endings. It's my escape from the reality that we all have to deal with on a day to day basis. I find this is why I create characters that bring smiles and happy memories....it's just my way of sharing this "Faith". There is not enough time in our lives to wander down this road with hatred and hostility...there is already enough pot holes in that road of life without us adding to them. Look at the "potholes" as swimming pools for the "Faeries or Wee Folk" and smile! We will all make it one way or another....Remember your path is just one of many on the road map of life so travel it well and with a smile!
