"Ghoultide is Coming! Spooks are Afoot!

Things That Go Bump In The Night.....Cool!
It's getting to be that time of year for me again "Ghoultide"!!!!! Of course "Ghoultide" isn't until September 30th, but for me it starts officially NOW! I have started playing the spooky music and surrounding myself with "creatures of night"....not live ones but pictures and old time memorbilla, I have trunks of goodies from Halloweens gone by! The inspiration is afoot and all I need to do is sit back and close my eyes and let my imagination do the work! Yea wish it was that easy!!!! Even though my
house may be haunted, yep you heard that right, my ghosts refuse to help out with anything that involves organized labor! They feel once they have scared the "beejeebus" out of me their job is done! This year I think I will be adding purple to my list of colors. I love purple and it just looks so "happy" amongst the "doom and gloom" of black and orange. Ideas of "Bats, Cats, Witches and Mice are playing tug-a-war in my head right now....where do I start? I will let you know where my muddled brain starts its journey! Until then "Have a BOO-tiful Day!

I am excited to see what you come up with. I am so ready for fall and Halloween. I have been working on witches right now. Wish it was Halloween all year round!!

Hi Pam,
I always LOVE the pictures you illustrate your blog posts with. The Halloween ones in your latest post are no exception. All wonderful!
Adding purple to your Halloween color palette will be great. I can't wait to see what delightful creations you come up with for this year's Ghoultide Gatherings.
Have fun!

Maybe this year will be the year.
Hope my schedule allows it.
Can't wait to see what you come up with.
Halloween is my favorite holiday!

I forgot before: I am soooo envious of your having ghosts! I would love to have some as long as they wouldn't scare me so badly I had a heart attack. : )
Also, I would LOVE to be able to get to Ghoultide Gatherings, too, and be able to see, and have a chance to buy, some of the wonderful creations there. I need to go see where it is held. I should know that but my brain too much resembles a sieve these days. : )
I hope you are having a tremendous and creative day,
Cindy

OOOOOOO....I can't WAIT!!! I so LOVE Halloween and all things black and orange (and ok, purple!! I'm sure!)....How I envy you your trunks of ol-time Halloween goodies! I have a small collection of papier mache lanterns that I adore, and a few postcards, but, alas, that's about all I have been able to afford! Looking forward in anticipation to your newest creations! Smiles & Hugs, Robin

Orange, black, purple, and lime green are my go-to Halloween colors lately. I can't wait to see what you bring to Ghoultide! (I'm already Halloween shopping because we are Halfway to Halloween now)

Cheers!
Carey
