The Proverbial Cookie Jar.......

Since the picture pretty much says it all I will try to make this short and to the point!

When someone, anyone, does something so wrong that denying it only paints an even dimmer picture of their character why do they or others insist on dragging it out? Do the "others" have the welfare of the accused at heart or are they being driven by another issue all together. Be sure that when you voice your opinions about a situation that it is coming from you and not a heated discussion from a group who has a disgruntled member that has their own personal agenda. Take a step back and look at who is doing all the preaching, complaining and rebel rousing! What is their agenda? Why aren't they addressing the issue instead of sitting back while others take the lead? I've never been one who is afraid of confrontation or admitting when I'm wrong (had lots of experience doing it) and I have also had the experience of being manipulated and goaded into a situation of someone else's choosing....NEVER AGAIN! Be careful and understand what is driving you to make assumptions about people. I feel honored that so many of you took a stand and voiced your opinion re: my copycat issue and also did your homework to come to that conclusion. "A wise man once told me it was easy to forget what is important....so don't!" Integrity, strength of character, compassion and believing in oneself is what's important to me.....When my hand gets caught in that "Proverbial" cookie jar I will be the one that says "OOPS" and "I'm sorry" never "what cookie?" Character is everything in life, how we are perceived by our peers makes a huge difference in how we see the world! It took me a lot of years to figure it out but once I did life got a whole lot rosier! A BIG thank you to all my wonderful friends, you guys rock!

Hugs Pam ~
We've known each other for years and have been through thick and thin in this business. The Internet can be friend or foe. In this case, it is a friend, even though it at times seems other.
As a professional and business woman, you had the good sense to put in place protection for your work and now it is paying off. One always hopes that they never have to use the free copyright system and people would see the banners along with your work. Kudos for paving the way once again for soft sculpture!

I am glad you took a stand. There are simple shapes and then there are shapes. Your shapes rock! Sorry to hear there will be no more patterns but our time is limited too. Spend time on what you love...I will eagerly await to see what your talented mine comes up with.
