There are times, though, I feel just like little Lucie but I'm always sitting in front of my work table looking at the mass of trinkets, doo-dads and bobbles that I've collected over the years and my mind gets lost in the clutter! Just like Lucie's hill I find my workroom over-whelming! Would cleaning it be the answer? Probably not cause I would spend hours wondering what to toss and what to keep....so it's probably better just to keep it all. I mean after all the "Juliet Bunny" doll I just made definitely benefited from the strands of beads that I've had hanging on that nail for years and the antique book of a "Mid-Summers Night Dream" did add a nice touch......I guess the plethora of trinkets and doo-dads stays and I will just continue staring at this work space with the eyes of a traveler walking up that proverbial BIG hill....Junk ya gotta love it!

That is exactly how I feel, too many things to do and it just gets too be too much to think about, lol. So, I end up doing nothing. I am going to clean first, I can't work with so much clutter, so anything I don't need to work on, can go in my storage room. I need to finish projects, so those will come out, to do and the ones I am stuck on, go into hiding and I will rethink about them later.
Sometimes I get into a crafting rut, so I have to step back and take a day off to do something fun and get away from it, then I can come back with a fresh outlook.

It's not about Lucie getting to the top of her hill...it's about all the adventures and discoveries she'll have/make on the journey there! Your trinkets & treasures are beautiful little flowers picked on the path to a finished creation! What a wonderful magical journey you are on! Keep on creating ~*~Lisa
As they say, someone's junk is someone else's treasure! I recognize that feeling of inertia when sitting and thinking about what to do and how to do it and then oh, look at that pretty scrap of lace over there and oh, look at that lovely piece of fabric over there .... and then somewhere in that mish mash of objects and flight of ideas the concept gels and the work can begin. I'd say whatever is is you are doing, keep it up because your creations are magical beyond words! Deb
