"Simply Primitives" goes up tonight or tomorrow morning, never know for sure when.....anywho I'd like to introduce some new "Softees". The little ladies pictured left are a group known as "Chir-r-r-p". They love to sing and NEVER miss an opportunity to do so! Each little lady is mounted on top a keepsake mache box and dressed in vintage lace.
Next is little "Toby" the mischievous mouse. He decided to skip Sunday school and go fly his kite.....boy is his mama going to be upset! This little guy was so much fun to make and just makes me smile when I look at him....kinda reminds me of my grandsons! Toby is actually wearing a piece from a vintage sweater! He is firmly attached to a wooden base and will look great placed on a shelf or sitting on top of a rustic table or desk.
The bunny I have on "Simply Primitives" is a design that goes back to the beginning of "Soft in the Head" before whimsy took over. Meet "Nana"....she is a grandmother who loves to indulge her grandchildren with stories and poems, often reading to them at night as they lie snuggled in bed! I love how she turned out and especially love the vintage lace (thank you Joycee) that trims her dress and the eyelet used for her cap. The book that Nana is holding is an antique leather bound book of poems. Everything about this little lady screams "vintage"....Hope you will pay a visit to "Simply Primitives" to see all the wonderful treasures offered from the wonderful artists!

Decisions, decisions...they're all so special its hard to choose just one! I'll cross my fingers & hope I'm one of the first to see them on Primitives. Hope to see more Frogs available too. If not, I'll have to make my way to Ghoultide. Smiles & a great day to you. :)
I'd have to admit that of these darling little treasures, Toby is the one who stole my heart. What a sweet little guy. As always, wonderful work.
