Life Can Be Like "Herding Cats"....
The last couple of months have proven to be exactly that "herding cats"! Now ask me how many I've managed to get into one space/room at the same time...NONE! Life has a unique way of sneaking up on us and presenting itself with a multitude of emotional upheavals and dilemmas. Many of these we manage to tackle with the maturity, yes maturity, expected of us as adults and others....ah yes the others....knock us flat and then tromp over us with the finesse of a club footed over-weight troll. The question then is how do we pick ourselves up, dust off and start again? Slowly and not without some serious "me time" hence "herding cats"! When your mind is trying, desperately, to heal itself and your emotions are raw it seems that creativity is the last friend who comes knocking on your door of recovery. Trying to throw myself into work as been nothing short of "NOT"! Fortunately for me my customers have been understanding, well at least to my face....I'm sure they weren't happy and probably uttered a few descriptive metaphors under their breath....I know I would! I wish I could say that "Soft in the Head" was back on track and all is right in her creative world but alas there are still a few tails caught in the door and we seem to still be herding a few cats that bolted from the herd, but ya know with experience comes knowledge and with knowledge comes solutions???? I did discover, however, that running the can opener does seem to help in the herding!

Sending you lots of good JuJu and Love!

I had to giggle about "herding cats" because I always say "herding squirrels!"

We are busy here cleaning up all the mess from Hurricane Irene...ughhh, what a mess!!!

I am going to try to go to Ghoultide Gathering next year. It just came too close to my big show this year but hopefully next year I will make it!

Back to cleaning up!

Love,
LuLu~*xoxo

Alice is right, putting yourself and family at the top of the list is paramount. I'm amazed at how much you do with all that goes on in our spinning world. Sending strength and hugs!

Maturity can be overrated at time - and the thing about herding cats, as I'm sure you know, is that some, well, just will never be herded! You do what you need to do - make you first....and your creativity and imagination will return threefold I'm sure - and with 9 lives or more!! Take good care....Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
