Ducks In A Row Or.......

Bottoms Up???????
It seems to me that no matter how much planning one makes to get their life to have a sense of normalcy some little "gremlin", with a wicked sense of humor, likes to make an appearance and muck it up! I guess if it wasn't for those occasional "muck-ups" life might get dull or un-entertaining! At this point in my life I think I would welcome dullness with my arms spread wide and inviting! You often hear people refer to the comment "old age sucks" well I'm here to say "YEP" it does, well at least the health issues that go with it do! It seems that the occasional "tune up" at the doctor's office is no longer sufficient to keep your engine purring like a kitten. You find you can no longer gun your engine without some wicked exhaust or a minor explosion occurring which results in changing the fuel you use or purchasing an extremely expensive additive to prevent anymore embarrassing flare-ups!! To bad there isn't a body shop that takes coupons for a complete over-haul both internal and external! Then again, if there was, I don't think I have that much time slotted to be away from my business without going out of business! Ah yes...I believe it is time to embrace the inevitable and learn to live with insomnia, backaches and indigestion....BUT I refuse to deal with gray hair, facial hair and wrinkles like a pro! Nope not gunna do it! If I have to stock up on Clairol, Nair and Oil of Olay this woman is not going down without a fight! Now if I could just find the coordination to juggle life's little interruptions without falling on my face or breaking something I think I might just be able to live to be 150! Just think of it 90 more years of being "Soft in the Head"!

I love that saying: "The purpose of life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave with a well-preserved body, but rather to Slide in Sideways, completely used up, yelling and screaming, What A Ride!" — Author Unknown (with a drink in one hand and chocolate in the other???) Hope you are well ~*~Lisa

Just wait a bit longer and you'll find that you won't need to worry about nair and the hair color will be something else you can forget about as the hair loss takes care of both. Wrinkles? The eyesight gets worse the older you get so you really don't see the wrinkles and lines. Not being able to sleep has advantages as it gives you more time to work on your projects which is a good things as the stiffness in the hands slows you down some. Take it from someone with many miles on the odometer, life really sucks when you get old!

I have to admit, I made it through that stage fairly well with no need for hormones. I just don't have time for those things, lol.

LOL, explosions? I guess I could use an overhaul, too! I'm three years ahead of you, Pam. I'd love to be around for my 150th b-day. 'Course I wouldn't know it was my birthday, or even my name.
