Mohair Buddies for Simply Primitives....

Work in Progress...........
The excitement and response to my "Wee Bridgett" on the PFATT Marketplace has got the "Soft in the Head" engines fired up and ready to go for "Simply Primitives" which is on the 15th. As you can see by the picture...another little fuzzy friend is coming together. This one will also be wearing a "Bottle Cap Hat" since everyone got such a chuckle out of that! I can see it now...."Bottle Cap Hats" on mice will be the new rage all over the place! I wonder who will copy it and make it into a pattern first. It's sad when that's so predictable we make jokes about it....but it is what it is! I think I will name this little mouse "Buckwheat" subject to change of course, but right now meet "Buckwheat"! I got a very nice surprise yesterday...a call from England! A wonderful bear designer loved my little mouse Bridgett and wanted to know if I had ever thought of doing bears? Well... we talked for some time and when the conversation came to an end I think I convinced her that I was going to leave the "Bears" to the experts but continue to make the mice.....I just don't see this Ol' Softee as a bear designer unless they have a "Jack O'Lantern" grin! I think I have almost mastered the mouse!

I love your mice and hope you make many, many more. They're not what I'd call a rodent problem, so keep them a coming.

I make mice too...I had thought of the bottle cap for a Steampunk mouse but maybe not now. I'll think of something else:)

...That is adorable!

...I remember seeing bottle cap hats on fabric birds last year on Etsy, so I know it's been around for a little while anyway. :o| Oh well, who know's who ever came up with the idea first...*shrug*

...Blessings... :o)
