Snow...a Mom and Childs Best Friend....

Ready for "TAKE OFF"!!!!!
I just love this picture of my daughter, Casey, and her son Ethan who is experiencing the joys of a "snow saucer" for the first time! They live in Idyllwild, Ca. and were given a HUGE surprise of 18 inches of new snow this last week with more on the way! Casey grew up in Oregon so snow is no stranger. Her boys were having the time of their lives with mom as the instigator of all of it! When Casey, Cassaundra to many, was growing up she was a "snow bunny"...you know the type, all glamor and no zip! She and her friends would go skiing but their idea of skiing was a matching outfit and make-up and posing with the skis! Boy has she changed....the mother of three very active boys she is roughing it with the best of them and "LOVING" it! I miss her! She is so much fun with her quick wit and "take no prisoners" attitude...a true inspiration! The boys keep her busy as does the full time job as school nurse at "Idyllwild Arts Academy" which is a boarding school. Casey did win out and get a girl dog, Daisy, so she is not alone in this household of all boys....Daisy even has a pink "hoody" which she loves and a rhinestone collar! That's our daughter, feeling pretty is important even when your world is all about dinosaurs, cars and super heroes!

Wonderful photos of your family. We are getting rain, so any snow we had will be mush and puddles this week.

I love the way you write pam. It is so poetic. Your daughter is beautiful and she will have 3 lovely daughters maybe some day.
I can't believe they had 18 inches of snow in C.A. WOW!
Have a great weekend and thank you for the well wishes for mom.
