maybe it's the artist soul I have. Seeing Mother Nature sweep her magic across the the earth with such abandonment is awe inspiring and nothing short of miraculous! We're fortunate enough to live in the "Blue Ridge Mountains" so the magic happens right outside my back door and knows no end. The wild turkeys and deer are constant
companions in the field as they too enjoy this season of harvest and bounty. The corn field has been cut and they find their fill in the leftovers. There is nothing more amusing then a large Tom turkey clucking and strutting his massive tail feathers around a bunch of non-interested hens. They are amazing birds and you get a true understanding why Virginians admire them so much! Though living here in Virginia has been difficult for us on many levels, all it takes is a bit of the magic from Mother Nature to remind me that life can be grand no matter where your life road takes you.......

I have a little magnet that says "Bloom Where You are Planted" ~ your post says exactly that!!
I have lived in RI all of my life, would be hard to change. I love New England and I think I would melt down south in the summer.

Aw Pam.... can I please come visit you. Your surrounding are so awesome and inspirational. No wonder your creations are so wonderful. Look what you have to look at for inspiration.
Oh yes, Fall is a wonderful time of year.
Happy Autumn :-)
Great post Pam! So glad Mother Nature is showing off for you in Virgina. Our colors haven't been so wonderful yet here...I'm afraid we will lose the leaves before full color pops here!

Lovely! We have our share of wildlife neighbors too. I see deer almost every morning. The turkeys are a little more elusive. And we hear our neighboring owl nightly too, just in time for Halloween!!
