Scary Old Woman.....

"I'm Feeling The Crunch"

Do you get those awful cravings during stressful moments? Not the ones that make you want to pull the wings of flies or bite the head off (verbally) your closest loved one... but those evil little tummy tuggers that send you cravings for absolutely the worst possible food group...CHOCOLATE!!!! I'm there! Not only is my head a complete void of a good creative idea but I have 30-40 works in progress with only 2 weeks left till "IT"! You know the "it" I'm talking about..."Ghoultide Gathering". The "it" of Halloween shows, the cherry on the top of the proverbial sundae, the "ahhh" to a hot cup of coffee on a cold day, you know "IT"! Why is it stress can make a person go numb mentally but yet their bloody stomach NEVER seems to shut up with its excessive growling and the only thing that will "calm the wild beast" is my nemesis "CHOCOLATE".... Now, if I had the body of a "Victoria Secret" model I would have no hesitation in giving in to this cursed craving but alas I am nothing more than a model for "Omar the Tent Maker" when it comes to fashion. Still, I'm not without human limitations and find that in order to make it through these next two weeks with some sanity I will have to give in to the beast and consume a few oreo's (double stuffed) or keep a family size bag of M&M's next to my work table. I'm just not a strong person....I tried, really I did, but in order to stay friends with my cats and keep a lasting relationship with my husband....I succumbed to that dreaded craving! Please forgive me for not stopping at just one oreo or one M&M!

oh my goodness... I've not had an Oreo in forever, and your description makes me want to go out and get some! Are cravings contagious? lol
I know all of those unfinished pieces will magically complete themselves just in the nice of time for "it". :-) Wishing you much success at Goultide!

So glad to hear that I'm not alone, Oreo's and M&M's are my constant companion these days too! I create the best when I have a handful of rainbow colors in my hand. LOL! Blessings to you! Michelle
