Stepping Back in Time.......

Our Daughter is Going Back to Ren Faire......
Casey has always loved acting and has been a regular in the Renaissance Faire circuit throughout California for many years. In fact it's where she met Phil her husband. The last few years though, she has either been pregnant when the Faire was going on or juggling life with three little boys...BUT she is returning this year. Phil has been a headliner for many years and continues to take part in the annual festivities. He even got Dan (my husband) involved one year...that was a scene to behold! Casey will be going back this year to the Southern California Faire as a story teller for the wee ones. She will be reading one of her own books and using small puppets to tell the story of "Andy the Ant". She is busy working on her costume since Phil bought her a new serger for Valentines Day, wow....and I'm busy working on her head piece cause that is what I do best! Our grandsons will also be dressed in costume and participating as well...now that will be a sight to behold! Here are some pictures of our Casey as she acted, sang and slap-sticked her way through the Renaissance Faires of the past. What a ham!

What a beauty your daughter is. I love th renfaires and go just to walk around every year. I wish I would have discovered them years ago.

Huzzah to all Renn Faires! I also met my husband at one. It's a great job when you get to see fairies and strolling minstrels wander by as you work. Where else do you get that?

I LOVE attending Renaissance Faires. I look forward to them each fall (when we usually have them here on the east coast). Your daughter's gowns are so extraordinarily beautiful. She makes them herself? How amazing!!!! And I do adore those crowns as well - they really set off the dresses so well. Thanks for sharing these wonderful photos!!! :) They are getting me excited for this year's faires! Theresa

Your daughter is gorgeous! What a fun family tradition to have. Would love to attend one some day. They have one here in Utah, but we are always in Oregon when the local faire is going on.

Your daughter is just stunning! What a FUN thing to do....I must pass this on my daughter, who is absolutely mad for both Shakespeare and acting. Thanks so much for sharing!!

How proud you and Dan must be!
