My Humble Studio (yea right)!

I know I have posted about my work load of recent and well folks it was brought to my attention that maybe this "Ol'Girl" might be exaggerating a bit....I WISH!!!!! I snapped this shot this morning before packing up another group to be shipped. These little characters were the "fruits of my labor" for the past four days and I have yet another group in the beginning stages. It is a lousy picture cause my "workspace" aka "my studio" (I wish I had a studio) faces out a very old rustic 16 pane door so the back light made this cumbersome and difficult and I wasn't about to show the blog world the rest of my work area cause it is a bloody nightmare of chaos and clutter...the way I like it! It is not often I feel the need to validate my integrity and often I just ignore the rants and tantrums of others but this time it hit a nerve....maybe cause I NEED SLEEP! I want to especially thank all my wonderful customers that have been patient and understanding while they wait for their orders. Life has a way of interrupting the best of intentions....Okay enough said and I am going back to my "Studio" LOL!

Your "studio" looks way better than mine! Mine is a laundryroom, pantry, place to store junk "studio". I'm still a kitchen table crafter at heart.

Pam, you make me feel so much better about my "studio" after seeing your photo. I really, really try to stay organized, but always seem to end up tidying up with a shovel...
Maybe we could say it's part of our "creative process"?

Pam,

I am so sorry that someone has gotten under your "crawl"...as your advice to me...it must be chatter from that little pond complex we chatted about,no doubts!! I don't blame you ONE bit for clearing the air, speaking your peace and moving on...

AS I always say..Onwards and Upwards!!

My "studio" is a 9x11 tiny room with a 10 foot table (2 1x12 pine boards painted and braced together) with about a ton of supplies tucked anywhere I can tuck them...LOL..oh to have a real live studio?? Heck, most of us know that we work from our kitchen tables or in our living rooms...I find it funny, as so many would like to say that they have "studios"....really?

great post Softie...

Ohhhh Pam thanks so much for sharing this photo and your studio, it is the way I have imagined, with some of the PODDS family together, I see my Samuel in there with his brother and also I see Flatfoot's twin brother. Thanks for making them.

Pam,
I know just HOW busy you are. Anyone that doubts it all they have to do is look at all the creations on all the sites you are. Do they think that they are made through the magic of television? LOL That is a joke around here when something gets done and my family wonders how and who did it. LOL
Ya don't need a studio to create either. I used to work on a corner of my couch, my dining room table and a shelf in my livingroom. If you do have a studio it is nice but really it is just one more room to clean. LOL Especially when you are messy creators like us* wink*
Have a great day and get some rest. Your family needs you in one piece.
Hugs,Pea

Pam how can one create in a non messy space. I mean I clean up my area but as soon as I start focusing on a project and I'm in the swing of things... things get pulled out and left out. I need to see what my options are. I say enjoy the mess and there isn't any need to validate it... not in my eyes anyway. :)

Pam, I love your work and your patterns !!! The way I look at it, if they are talking about you, they are leaving someone else alone LOL
