"Going Home"

Well it is time.....I am heading home! My trip was cut a few days short do to complications with flights being canceled. Mom sure isn't happy and neither am I. We had plans to have some quality time for the next few days and I wanted to visit with Christy Meyers of "CC Whimsies" and Christine LeFever. Very sad about the change of events.....hubby is thrilled though! This trip has been an emotional roller coaster on so many levels. I have pictures of new friends and stories to tell which I will post when I get home. I feel such comfort in knowing my mom is happy in her new place and will continue to thrive. My brother is relieved as much as I am with this move and will help cut his personal stress in half. He has been doing such an amazing job with everything. I had so much fun visiting my old stomping grounds in Washington State and made a ton of new memories that will be fun to reconnect with often.
I hav
e a ton of work waiting for me at home and I am so excited about starting in on my Halloween characters for "Ghoultide Gatherings". Fabric shopping in Seattle was a blast and I found some real treasures to use for my new characters residing in my mind. I created my first Halloween Raven for the new Raven line I am excited about. "Nightshade is having her debut on TDIPT this month. I am thrilled that I was able to take this time to re-group and re-energize. Thank you Rennie for everything! You have been my "creative strength" so many times with your encouragement and excitement. Look out Virginia here I come!

Your trip sounds wonderful, even if it was cut short. I can't wait to see what new creations you come up with for the show.
