MEMORIES THAT ARE "WARM & FUZZY"...
Sitting here at my daughters and gazing from the upstairs window I still see nothing but snow covered trees and rooftops. I love winter but with my feet being so cold and my nose dripping I find myself wishing for spring. As I get older the seasons seem to whiz by like teenagers on caffeine and I hardly get into the feel of one season before another is knocking on the door of time.

When I think of spring one artist and author comes to mind and that is Beatrice Potter. My children all grew up with her stories and images. They make one feel young and alive with their touch of whimsy and magic. There is nothing that can compare with the adorable characters in their muted colors. I have often thought of using her characters as models for my own characters, but alas I feel I would do her an injustice! No one can compare to the likes of Peter Rabbit, Jeremy Fisher, Tom Kitten, Mrs. Tiggywinkle, Squirrel Nutkin and Jemima Puddle Duck. I have collected her stories for years and will always be on the lookout for something exciting to add.

Here's to SPRING my friends and hoping that it will come soon and bring with it a new adventure of prosperity and magic!

Amen to all you said Pam! I love Beatrice Potter also and think that you, of all artists, would make her characters come to life in a wonderful manner - do it - I'll be watching for them, lol.

Spring.............my favorite season of all..........rebirth and the promise of green, flowers and sunkissed weather - I can't wait! Hope you have a great week!

Hugs & smiles, alba

I agree with Alba Pam and infact I better start saving my pennies now. Tee hee.
Mrs. Black insisted that we go see what new folks might be coming out of your home. She said it is the most magical of places to be born.
