I just couldn't help myself. I am trying very hard to leave my beloved Halloween behind and move on to Christmas. We always dress Seamus (our oldest cat and most tolerant) up for the holidays just to help Dan and I get in the spirit. Doesn't he look thrilled? Having your family scattered over the entire planet just seems to knock the wind right out of the "HO HO HO"S and the proverbial Christmas secrets!
I think the hardest part about growing up is when we loose that ability to have "magic" in our souls and the innocence of seeing through the eyes of a child. Maybe this is why I make dolls? Hmmmmm?

Ooh Seamus is an impressive Santa hohohoho! We had one too, with golden eyes, he left us after 20 years, so now we're catless.

Seeing life through the eyes of a child has been my life's motto since the 60's when I heard the moody blues song. I think it's the only way to still find wonder and enjoy all the little things and be grateful for them. I am happy to meet a kindred spirit.

004oh your little seamus looks absolutely adorable..I should try that with my 8 and see if they will all sit still so I can photograph them...NOT...they would go nuts...I miss being a kid again and the magic and wondering when christmas was ever going to get here...

You have such an adorable little seasonal helper! He is so cute with his little Santa hat on! I doubt I would be able to catch mine if they saw me coming with any kind of attire! They hardly tolerate my children! hehe! I might get a surprise in my shoe the next day! LOL My in-laws though have done it for years and all of their animals tolerate everything just fine! I always love seeing their Halloween costumes, they are just too cute! Thanks for sharing your beautiful kitty with us!

Christmas is a celebration we hold in our hearts.Memories of special times and gifts we shared from the past.
When children grow and leave the nest to seek out their place in the world somehow the magic goes with them.
When the spirit of the season becomes overwhelming I resort to the memories.(and of course Christmas Vacation playing on a DVD helps bring the laughter back!)
