THE ROAD NOT TAKEN.....Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I marked the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

I have always loved Robert Frost and this particular poem is special to me. Many times it comes to my mind after certain decisions or episodes in my life. I think we all, at one time or another, wonder to ourselves what if?

Ah yes, the road not taken and the what-ifs.Hopefully it is a place we turn to now and again to ponder and imagine. But just look at the road we have chosen, a place of comfort and where we can indulge our every whim.
A direction along the path where we can observe the creative makings of gifted artists that go by whimsical names like 'Soft in the Head'!
We have much to be thankful for!

Many times I often wonder as well Pam. The what if's can certainly drive us crazy...

But, had we not each been on the path that we are on today, I think each of us we be different. Our lives would be different. We are who we are, because of the paths we are on.

I feel everything happens for a reason...

Smiles to you,
~Tonya

Yes, everything does happen for a reason...good or bad.
