Boy was this ever a dream come true...actually it was a complete shocker! I remember when I got the call from the magazine, it was pretty funny. I had been having a tough month, health issues, business issues and just a plain ol' mind funk and then the phone rang....A woman's voice asked me if this was "Soft in the Head"..I said yes. She then proceeded to tell me that she was Ann Blevins, editor of Better Homes and Gardens Creative Collection Publication and was interested in publishing one of my designs in their upcoming magazine. Okay, now being in the frame of mind I was in I responded "yeah sure who is this really???" As soon as she called me P.K. and not Pam I knew it was legit and not a practical joke by some of my questionably warped friends! She had seen my designs and really felt they would fit into their magazine quite well. Talk about a compliment...."HOLY GUACAMOLE"!!!! I was speechless....now anyone that knows me knows that me speechless is right up there with time travel...almost impossible! Needless to say the rest is history and here I am in Better Homes and Gardens. My little "Snow Dude" was specifically designed for the magazine. The pattern is in the magazine for everyone to enjoy! If things couldn't get any better....I am sharing the pages with Johanna Parker who I admire tremendously! We are on pages 62 & 63! Go check us out!!!!!!!!! I'm still in shock! Wa-Hoooooooooo!
