A "HUGE" part of who I am when it comes to my creations is my "junking".....As many of you know I just returned from a month on the west coast where I spent a good part of it driving around and looking for the weird and unusual to use for "Ghoultide Gathering". I think this year I hit the "MOTHER LOAD". My box of treasures arrived here last Friday. Unpacking all of these pieces was like looking through a "kaleidoscope" of ideas for the weird and bizarre. I see so much potential and humor in just everything....from tiny mice popping out of the back of broken clocks with hammers in hand to a spooky ghost wrapping itself around a burned out candle with a match in his boney hand....who ever thought a ghost would be afraid of the dark!
As you can probably tell "I love clocks" working or not....clocks have many stories to tell and are just plain fun to work with! This year I have managed to score seven antique and vintage lanterns, where normally I only have
three.....My "Jack-O-Lanterns" (pumpkin heads on old kerosene lanterns)
are always the first to find a new home at "Ghoultide". This bunch of
new possibilities has got me excited and planning....I can't wait to see
what evolves this year....I LOVE HALLOWEEN and GHOULTIDE!

I'm sure they will be amazing!
What wonderful find you have. I love thinking up all the possibilities for new art.
Thank so much for sharing.
