We all grew up with the fantasies of "Fairy Tales". In fact we relate to them often in our everyday lives and share their lessons and characters with those that are closest to us, like our children. I believe our lives are our own personal "Fairy Tale" and it's always up to us to write the ending. Sure circumstances have a way of rearing their ugly head like the "wolf in sheep's clothing" but we, as a race, are a bunch of survivors and find ourselves waving our finger in the face of adversity and skipping along. It isn't always easy to see the positive of a negative but the world is about "balance" and that positive is hanging on just to keep everything in balance. We endure, we fight and scrap along and times wonder why is life so darn hard, then it happens....we see our kids laughing, a sparkle in the eyes of someone you love or even a miracle that

The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck
