Mother Nature Is Not Happy!
We've all grown up with the stories about "Mother Nature" and developed our own opinion of who or what she is. Mother Nature has a huge influence on my beliefs and my way of life. Lately I have noticed that she's not very happy and has created some pretty nasty scenarios! Last night my house was struck by lightening and literally fried my husbands computer and all the Direct TV receivers in the house.
I'll never forget sitting there watching NCIS and POW! It seemed like the whole place lit up and shook! I remember feeling my hair on my arms stand up and my heart race! What an experience! My dear friend Lori Ann Corelis said she thought "Mother Nature was going through menopause".....well I don't think she's far off the mark with that comment! The weather lately has been anything but normal for any of us! It's been SCARY! Time to plant a tree and some flowers in homage to a very upset, and rightly so, goddess! I think I would be extremely upset if my home were being threatened with devastation and pollution by the guests you allow to live with you! I promise to recycle and be kind....no more lightening bolts PLEASE!!!!!!!

OooooEEEeee! Yes indeed, plant a tree or two or three!... and maybe a lightning rod or two wouldn't hurt! Hope you're both ok.
That is scary, never had that happen before.
I usually shut down my electronics when it is a bad storm. Glad you just got a scare and no one was hurt.

YIKES! It may be hard to see the bright side - but, truly, you're lucky that whole espisode didn't start something on fire. Good luck getting things back up and running! Hugs ~ Robin
ah - what have we done? everything is upside down - we have to talk about this - we have to bring awareness to what we have done to our dear mother or else these types of stories are just going to be part of everyones everyday.
