"My Superman"......
My Man of Steel.......
Recently, many of you have heard me talk about "Dan"....those of you that know me personally know that Dan is definitely my "better half", lol. He is my common sense, my calm in the middle of a storm and the one person who always makes me feel like a winner even when I can barely make it across the finish line. He's my Superman! This picture was taken when he was about six years old. When I look at it now I see Casey, David and Chip (our kids)....but what makes it even more amazing and goose-bumpy" is I see our six grandkids....Doesn't the cycle of life just knock your socks off? 
If our grandkids grow to have an ounce of the integrity and love for life that their Grandfather has they will be on a road of nothing less than magical! I AM a very lucky woman to have this gentle soul as my partner and bless every day we have together.....I once told him "where you go I will follow" but I sure didn't know it would be to Virginia....boy it's gotta be love! LOL! You can take the girl out of California but ya can't take the California out of the girl....I miss the rush and quirkiness of the west coast, Dan misses the fishing!

What a fun picture and I do notice that in my kids.
We are both blonds, so hard to tell who they take after, lol. Once someone asked if Bill was my brother, so we have a lot of similarities that got passed into the kids.

Hugs to you both~ When my marriage ended, I'm sure you remember that I told you if I ever remarried.... I wanted a "Dan". Well, I got one~ only his name is Tim. He loves fishing too~ what were the odds? You both are a wonderful "Dynamic Duo"!
