My favorite time of year is being represented this month on "Simply Primitives"....As I'm preparing for "Ghoultide Gathering" Halloween is oozing from my pores and these little characters are emerging in full force!

Every little witch mouse needs their own special house and what better place than that of an old discarded witch hat!  This is a great piece to set on a shelf or in a centerpiece on your table.  I love hats and try to use them anyway I can...

"Cackling Casta" was so much fun to make....I love these laughing mice.  Having her attached to a  fabric covered box gives you a special place for some Halloween treats!  Everyone needs a good "cackle" every once in awhile!

Anyone that knows me knows how much I love "pin-keeps" especially of the Halloween variety....this one is extra special since it is mounted to the top of an antique salt shaker.  The hat pins are little clay witch hats that I sculpted from plastic clay....pretty good for this Ol' Softee huh?
